St. Brendan School’s Consultative Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Principal and the Pastor.  Its role is to provide a strategic and broad-based perspective on business, financial, legal, and other issues germane to the school’s long-term health and sustainability.  Unlike a traditional board of directors, St. Brendan’s consultative board has no authority to set school policies, nor does it vote; the board provides only feedback to the Principal and the Pastor.  Members are chosen by and serve at the pleasure of the Principal and the Pastor based on their own criteria.  The board meets every other month or on an as-needed basis.
