Jacky Barreto Fox was born in India but relocated to Athens, Greece with her family at a young age. After graduating high school in Athens, Jacky attended Boston University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. She moved to London, England, and worked as a Software Developer and Computer Programmer, developing both in-house and technology products for use by financial services firms.

In 2006, Jacky moved to Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She became a part of the St. Brendan School community when her daughter, now a current college sophomore, joined the kindergarten class in 2009. Later her son, now a freshman at Loyola HS, joined the kindergarten class in 2014. From the very beginning, Jacky loved volunteering at the school and over the years took on various roles on the St. Brendan School’s Parent Teacher Board up until 2022 when she started working part-time for the school. Even though both her children have since graduated, her love of the school, borne out of its strong community and the teachers’ passion to educate, led her to take on a full-time role in the fall of 2023, working for both St. Brendan parish and school as the Systems and Data Specialist. She looks after the FACTS tuition system, SchoolSpeak, and the school website, and helps wherever she can!

Jacky’s happiness centers around her family and close friends; she loves traveling with her husband and children, visiting her various siblings and family all over the world, reading, spending time with her dog, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines in Los Angeles.
