Chelsea Calleja

4th Grade Teacher, Student Council Moderator

Chelsea Calleja, a member of the 2006 graduating class of St. Brendan School, attended Notre Dame Academy and later graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies from UC Riverside. In 2020, she graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Masters in Urban Education.

Out of college, Chelsea served as an AmeriCorps member through City Year Los Angeles, in which her love for mentoring and teaching young students was nurtured. Chelsea’s goals as an educator is to provide her students with a positive learning environment filled with compassion, love, and support. She believes in the power of young people, and nothing gives her more happiness than being able to play a vital role in the foundational growth of young minds. 

In August 2019, Chelsea joined St. Brendan School as the 4th grade teacher and Student Council Moderator.

Chelsea and her family have been active parishioners of St. Brendan Church since she and her younger sister attended St. Brendan School. When Chelsea is not in the classroom, she loves playing, coaching, and watching basketball–Go Lakers! She enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, trying new restaurants in Los Angeles, and planning her next visits to Disneyland.
