6th Grade Teacher
6th - 8th Grade Honors Math Teacher

Anton Aquino was born and raised in the City of Angels, where he attended St. Teresa of Avila School, Cathedral High School, and Cal State Los Angeles.

Anton has been in the field of education for 12 years, and in 2022 he joined the St. Brendan School family as the 6th grade homeroom teacher and middle school honors math teacher. "Family isn't always blood; it's the people in your life who want you in theirs: the ones who accept you for who you are, the ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.” (Maya Angelou)

Anton believes in leading and teaching the young minds of today to build a strong foundation to best prepare them for the future. Anton’s passion for teaching stems from a positive mentor/teacher who taught him what it takes to have grit and passion for everything you do in life. “Love what you do; if you don’t, why are you doing it?”

When Anton is not in the classroom, you will find him visiting Disneyland, playing and watching sports, hiking, enjoying his love for everything Star Wars, and last but not least cooking. Another true passion of his is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  "Always assume that your opponent is going to be bigger, stronger and faster than you, so that you learn to rely on technique, timing and leverage rather than brute strength." (Grandmaster Helio Gracie)

Anton’s greatest happiness and motivation is his family: Erika, Emily Makayla,  Jeremiah Akoa, and his little Morkie, “Chewie”.
