St. Brendan School strives to provide an academically challenging Catholic elementary education (K-8). It is primarily for the diverse people of the parish in the spirit of proclaiming the Gospel, building faith community and rendering Christian service.
2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR
As instructed by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, St. Brendan School commenced their 2020-2021 academic year with Distance Learning on Wednesday, August 26.
Following the guidelines from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, California Department of Education, and the Los Angeles County Health Department, St. Brendan School plans to return to in-person instruction in the safest way possible using a Hybrid/Hyflex model.
Grades K-6 will be split into cohorts, with in-person instruction commencing:
March 2, 2021: Kindergarten-Grade 2 (Monday-Friday).
March 8, 2021: Grades 3-4 (2 days a week, Monday-Thursday with distance learning on Fridays)
March 15, 2021: Grades 5-6 (2 days a week, Monday-Thursday with distance learning on Fridays)
Grades 7-8 will continue with Distance Learning until such time as Los Angeles County permits them to return.
