1st - 4th Grade Art Teacher
Annie Dang was born in New York but has lived in Los Angeles most of her life. She attended St. Brendan School and Marymount High School. Annie attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Business Management. After college, she worked at several advertising agencies in account services, handling national and regional auto clients. She also worked in marketing for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for a few years before starting a family.
Annie started her career in education when she worked at Hollywood Presbyterian Children’s Center, where she assisted the director and served as a substitute teacher. Annie joined St. Brendan School in the fall of 2014 to teach art for 1st to 4th grades.
Annie believes that “Our goal as educators is that no matter what subject you teach, each student has unique needs, interests and learning styles to become life-long learners. We want to make an astounding difference in all our students’ lives.” Annie tries to inspire kids to try their best in art class. She tries to make art fun and at the same time educational.
When Annie is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves shopping, organizing, working out, hiking, walking her dog, and trying new restaurants. She is a true chocoholic and enjoys dessert any day of the week!
