Angela Chang joined the St. Brendan community in 2013. Angela has eleven years of experience in the classroom teaching a variety of grades from elementary to middle school. Having taught first grade for five years, Angela has now transitioned into the role of Reading Specialist.
Angela graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies. She continues her graduate studies at Loyola Marymount University, through the CAST (Catholic Archdiocesan School Teachers) program.
“Teaching is not only what I do, but who I am.” Angela believes in educating the whole child. She guides all students in her class to become knowledgeable, confident, and compassionate individuals. She continually strives to advocate for the needs of each learner by setting high expectations in a supportive and loving environment.
In Angela’s spare time, she loves to try new restaurants, watch movies, and go to the beach with her husband and two children.
